Grilled Brussels Sprouts

With an abundance of fresh veggies at the farmer’s markets, it’s time to take advantage of healthy eating.

This is a simple way to fix Brussels sprouts…and don’t they look yummy?

Brussels sprouts are small leafy green buds that resemble miniature cabbages. They are rich in protein, dietary fiber, vitamin C & K, minerals, and antioxidants. They are a low-glycemic vegetable that should be considered in weight control programs.

 

Grilled Brussels Sprouts

Seasoning Mix:

Olive oil

Minced garlic

Dry mustard

Smoked paprika

Kosher salt

Black pepper

Put Brussels sprouts on skewers, brush with seasoning mix and grill.
