Things We No Longer Do Because of Technology

With technology touching every part of our lives, we no longer do simple things like writing ‘thank you’ notes, looking up a phone number in an address book or numerous other activities.

These activities had the essence of simplicity of life, but today we no longer practice them, as technology has invaded our fast-paced lives.

We have chosen a list of activities that many people no longer do on a daily or frequent basis. You may feel these activities have enriched your life or you may feel that you would like to go back to the ‘good ol’ days’!

I still gift books. Children should be gifted something to wear, something they want and something to read. And although I mostly read on my Kindle I asked for a specific book this year. And got it!

I remember making sure we had a dime in our shoe for an emergency call while on a date. Dad made sure about that dime.
